When selecting IP addresses for the LANCNC or LANUSB units, use IP addresses that are high on the IP last number. Like 240, for example 192.168.1.240 and another device at 192.168.1.241, etc.
The IP address is stored in the LANCNC.INI file, but once the INI is set, the file is not needed anymore on the SD card. Remember, to write down the settings that are used in the LANCNC.INI. Or print them out and store the print out with the device. Also write on the print out what all the settings are for the communication with your machine are.

Fadal units, there is the INI+ command to display the current settings:

If there are multiple units, and you might think the IP address is being used by something else. You can try this procedure to see if the IP addresses are in use with other devices on network:
1. turn off all the LANCNC units.
2. on your computer use the PING command and see if the IP addresses the LANCNC units are using are being used by some other device.

use the PING application, put the IP address after PING 192.168.1.211
